Dr. Olivia O'Keefe, DVM

Dr. Olivia O’Keefe was born and raised in northeast Ohio. She grew up alongside a mini menagerie of animals, many of which she showed through the local 4H. From a very young age she knew she would devote her life to caring for animals. After graduating high school, her family moved across the country to Idaho. For her undergraduate degree she attended Washington State University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. She then continued at Washington State University and completed her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. O’Keefe has deep compassion and love for all animals. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a special interest in dermatology, behavior, and pain management. She finds the most rewarding part of being a veterinarian is forming relationships with pets and their families. Dr. O’Keefe is Fear Free certified and is committed to looking after both a pet’s physical and emotional wellbeing.

Dr. O’Keefe never imagined she would be living in Vermont but could not be happier that this is where life has taken her! She and her husband Kyle are excited to explore the Green Mountain State. Her family includes Nala, a golden retriever, Simba, a flat coated retriever mix, and Milo, an ornery cat. Some of Dr. O’Keefe’s favorite activities include riding horses, hiking, pottery and gardening.
