Dr. Sunny Knox, DVM

Dr. Alison Knox (aka Sunny) joined Orchard Veterinary Hospital in May of 2013.  A graduate of Vassar College and New York State College of Veterinary Medicine (Cornell).

Sunny moved to Vermont in 1993 where Sunny joined the staff of Brown Animal Hospital in South Burlington. In 2007 Affectionately Cats Hospital moved to their new building in Williston and Sunny accepted the offer to join this feline-exclusive practice on a part-time basis.

While working part-time at Affectionately Cats Alison also did relief work for veterinarians in and around Chittenden County which is how she met John Eustis and the Orchard Veterinary Hospital staff.  She is very happy to bring her feline expertise to OVH while returning to seeing canine patients.

Sunny is married to Carl, an IBM engineer and has 4 adult children. She is secretary/treasurer of a local veterinary group, The Greater Burlington Academy of Veterinary Medicine, which has over 100 members from practices in NW Vermont.

The family includes 2 rescued dogs (Chopper and Molly) one rescued cat (Mongo) and 4 laying chickens
